Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of Calendlight ("the Service"), operated by Calendlight ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Calendlight is an online appointment scheduling tool that allows you to create booking pages, connect your Google Calendar, and receive appointment requests from third parties ("Guests").

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Each account is personal. You may not share, transfer, or sell your account or booking URL to another person.

3. Subscription and payment

The Service requires a paid subscription of €6 per month (plus applicable taxes). Payments are processed by Stripe.

  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
  • You may cancel at any time from the Billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months.
  • If payment fails, we may suspend access to your booking pages until the payment issue is resolved.

4. Booking URLs

Your custom booking URL (e.g., calendlight.com/your-name) is assigned upon your first subscription payment. You may change it in your settings, subject to availability.

  • URLs are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If your subscription expires, your URL remains reserved but your public booking pages become inactive.
  • We reserve the right to reclaim inactive URLs from accounts that have been unsubscribed for more than 12 months.
  • We may refuse or revoke URLs that are misleading, offensive, or that impersonate other people or brands.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications.
  • Collect personal data of Guests for purposes unrelated to the booked appointment.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
  • Use the Service for any illegal activity.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

6. Google Calendar integration

When you connect your Google Calendar, you authorize us to read your calendar availability and create calendar events for confirmed bookings. You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your settings. Our use of Google data is governed by our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

7. Guest data

When a Guest books an appointment through your page, their name, email, phone number (if collected), and notes are stored and shared with you. As the account holder, you are responsible for handling Guest data in compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR if applicable). We act as a data processor on your behalf for Guest data.

8. Availability and uptime

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by Calendlight. You retain ownership of all content you create (event types, descriptions, etc.).

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for missed appointments, scheduling errors, or calendar sync issues.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of France.
